How to choose your floor

Different factors that will affect which floor is the right one for you:

  1. Floor type: Solid, engineered or laminate. Please see floor types for a detailed description on each different floor covering.
  2. Colour: There are many wonderful diversity of tones, colours and grades and when chosen carefully will add richness to the atmosphere of any room into which it is installed.
  3. Grading: Do you like the different variations real wood gives or the knots in an engineered?
  4. Style: Do you want long, short or wide boards. This will normally depend on the room to which it is being installed. If it is a big living room you will want a long and relatively wide board to enhance the size of the room.
  5. Surface finish: Please see Oiled or lacquered for a more detailed description on different finished.
